Car show Saturday in McAdoo

The Anthracite Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America will hold a benefit car cruise on Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Tri County Little League Field, McAdoo.

The event will be held rain or shine.

The show is featured in conjunction with the Southside Summer Festival, which runs from noon to 7 p.m.

Entertainment provided by DJ John from the Strand from noon to 3 p.m. and the Legends Oldies Band from 4 to 7 p.m.

Food trucks and vendors available: His Kingdom Coffee, Wicked Foods, Dantes Inferno by Alta, La Casita, the Greek Shack, Woods Ice Cream, All Saints Parish (Pierogies and Haluski); Craft Vendors, Face Painting, Bounce House.

All antiques, muscle cars, modifieds, hot rods and motorcycles are welcome. Proceeds will benefit McAdoo playgrounds. For more info call Mike Havrilla at 570-436-5050.

Mark your calendars for the club’s 39th annual car show on Sunday, Sept. 14 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tri-County Little League Field, corner of Grove and Hancock streets, McAdoo. The event will be held rain or shine.
