Local Roundup: Results from June 24
Franklin Township and Northern Valley both posted Lehigh Valley Junior Connie Mack wins on Tuesday.
FT gained a walk-off victory over East Stroudsburg, while the Chargers topped Williams in a high-scoring affair.

Franklin Township rallied late and pulled out a 9-8 walk-off win over East Stroudsburg.
Trailing by four runs on two separate occasions, Franklin tied the game in the bottom of the seventh when Carter Spotts delivered an RBI single to score Alex Kish. Later in the frame, Brian Mriss came through with a run-scoring hit to plate Jake Albert with the winning run.
Mriss finished with two hits, two runs and three RBIs for FT, which won its fourth straight game. Owen Moyer added a pair of hits and an RBI, while Korbin Ahner also contributed two hits.
Albert recorded four outs in relief, two on strikeouts, to earn the mound win.

Northern Vy.-Williams Black Sox
Northern Valley jumped out to a huge lead, but then needed a three-run seventh to pull out a wild 17-14 victory over Williams.
The Chargers plated seven runs to open the game as Richard Reinhart delivered a two-run double and Henry Fitzgerald and Ben Storch both added RBI singles.
The Black Sox, however, tied the game at 14-14 with a five-run sixth before Fitzgerald gave Northern Valley the lead again in the seventh with an RBI hit.
Fitzgerald ended with three hits and two runs, while Gabriel Markovitch collected two doubles, three runs and five RBIs.
The winners also received two hits, three runs and an RBI from both Tanner Fronina and Evan Miller.

Franklin Twp.-Towamensing
Franklin Township jumped out to an early lead and cruised to a 21-8 victory over Towamensing.
The winners exploded for nine runs in the first inning, and put an exclamation point on their triumph with seven more runs in the fifth.
Brantley Brungard led the way offensively for FT, finishing 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs.
Ethan Eckhart contributed two doubles, two runs and a pair of RBIs, while Camden Moyer collected a single and a double, scored twice and knocked in two runs.
Other hitting stars included Maverick Kegerise (two hits, three runs), Nolan Kotch (two hits, two runs, one RBI), Elijah Tirpak (one hit, three runs, one RBI), Brody Dronick (one hit, two runs), Grayson Shupp (one hit, one run, two RBIs) and Nash Cuyler (one hit, one run, two RBIs).
Lucas Sutton paced Towamensing with a single, double, three runs and an RBI. Javin Sesista finished with two hits and a run, while Warren Craig added a hit and two runs.
Franklin will face Tamaqua on Thursday, while Towamensing was eliminated.

Jim Thorpe-Tamaqua
Nick Dedinsky and Owen Hosier combined on a three-hit shutout to lead Jim Thorpe to a 10-0 victory over Tamaqua.
Dedinsky tossed the first three frames, allowing just one hit while striking out eight. Hosier pitched the final two innings, giving up two hits and fanning three.
Julius Calcano paced the winners offensively with two hits, a run and an RBI. Miles Smith added a double, two runs and an RBI.
Thorpe advanced to Saturday’s South Division finals and awaits the winner of the Tamaqua-Franklin Township matchup.

Hazle Township-Jim Thorpe
Remy Alexander had three hits, all for extra bases, to help Hazle Township gain a 14-3 victory over Jim Thorpe.
Alexander finished with a double and two triples, while also scoring two runs and knocking in three.
Emmanuel Ramos added a pair of hits and three RBIs to the winning cause.
For Thorpe, Wyatt Morris had two hits and an RBI. William Bernek chipped in with a double and a run.
Hazle Township remained alive in the tournament, and will face either Tamaqua or Valley West on Friday. The loss eliminated Jim Thorpe.
