At least one person was injured Thursday afternoon when involved in a crash in Rush Township.
The incident occurred around 3 p.m. when a tractor trailer traveling south on Route 309 descending the Mile Hill lost its brakes. The unit struck a sport utility vehicle at the traffic light at the Still Creek intersection. The victim was treated at the scene by members of the McAdoo ambulance before being transported to a nearby trauma center. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
