At its Graduates of Distinction Dinner on May 17, the Lehighton Education and Athletic Foundation announced the creation of two new endowment funds aimed at enhancing student programs, teacher grants, and scholarships for technical schools, community colleges, and four-year colleges.

Lehighton Area High School Alumni Endowment Fund

Open to all LAHS alumni, this fund allows graduates to give back and support programs designed to prepare current students for success in their future endeavors.

Donors can contribute via the LEAF website at https://leaf-foundation.org/donate/. Contributions may be directed to scholarships, teacher grants, student programs, or other areas of interest. Donors can also choose between one-time or recurring giving options and may donate as individuals, families, businesses, or anonymously.

LEAF remains committed to its mission of empowering students and teachers in the Lehighton Area School District by providing essential funding for programs that prepare graduates to be successful alumni from Lehighton Area High School.

It will support initiatives critical to the success and development of Lehighton Area High School students.
