Carbon County sentencing

The following defendants were recently sentenced in the Carbon County Court of Common Pleas:

• Michael Anthony Ciccozzi II, 29, of Nesquehoning, was charged with statement under penalty and placed on probation for a period of 12 months. He was sentenced by Judge Steven Serfass and also ordered to complete 50 hours of community service.

• Raven Fern, 20, of Slatington, was sentenced by Judge Steven Serfass and charged with use/possession of drug paraphernalia and placed on probation for a period of 6 months.

• Nicholas Losch, 39, of Lehighton, was charged with simple assault and placed on probation for a period of 1 year. He was sentenced by Judge Steven Serfass and also ordered to complete 50 hours of community service.

• Michael Coleman, 46, of Weissport, was sentenced by Judge Joseph Matika on charges of public drunkenness and fined $500.

• Suzanne Frohnheiser, 33, of Palmerton, was charged with use/possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also ordered to pay a fine of $500.

• Joseph Janko-Hudson, 46, of Easton, was sentenced by Judge Steven Serfass and charged with criminal mischief/property damage. He was placed on probation for a period of 18 months also ordered to complete 75 hours of community service and pay restitution of $4,611.38.

• Jonathan Luis Estrada, 34, of Pittson, was charged with terroristic threats with intent to terrorize and placed on probation for a period of 48 months. He was also ordered to complete 200 hours of community service.

• Thomas Caprio, 43, of Jim Thorpe, was sentenced by Judge Steven Serfass and charged with criminal mischief/property damage. He was sentenced to serve no less than 30 days or more than 18 months in the Carbon County Correctional Facility. He was also ordered to perform 75 hours of community service and pay restitution of $1,390.71.

• Caprio was also charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and was sentenced to serve no less than 115 days and no more than 18 months at Carbon County Correctional Facility. He was also ordered to complete 75 hours of community service.

• Michael Coleman, 46, of Weissport, was charged with having small amount marijuana-personal use and was ordered to pay a fine of $300.

• Manuel Pujols, 68, of Hazleton, was placed in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months. He was also ordered to complete 25 hours of community service.

• Jonathan Dubow Sr., 41, of Lehighton, was sentenced by Judge Steven Serfass and charged with harassment. He was also ordered to pay a fine of $300.00.

• Michael Shembri, 21, of Lansdale, was placed in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 1 year. He was also ordered to complete 50 hours of community service.

• Melissa Tessitore, 47, of Nesquehoning, was charged with driving while her operating privileges were suspended or revoked. She was ordered to pay a fine of $200.

• Melissa Beury, 47, of Nesquehonig, was charged with driving while her license was suspended or revoked and was sentenced to serve no less than 6 months and no more than 12 months imprisonment in the Carbon County Correctional Facility. She was also ordered to complete 50 hours of community service.

• Jarred Dillman, 34, of Palmerton, was sentenced by Judge Steven Serfass and charged with criminal use of a communications facility. He was sentenced to serve no less than 169 days and no more than 2 years at Carbon County Correctional Facility.

• Jarred Dillman, 34, of Palmerton, was charged with theft by unlawful taking/moving property and was sentenced to serve no less than 5 months and no more than 2 years. He was also ordered to complete 100 hours of community service.

• Daniel Barnes, 50, of Albrightsville, was placed in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 2 years. He was also ordered to complete 100 hours of community service.
