The Schuylkill County Courthouse was closed Tuesday morning to the public due to a law enforcement incident in the parking lot.

According to reports on scene, an explosive device was discovered in the parking lot.

According to information from the Schuylkill County Emergency Management Agency, courthouse employees have been evacuated as a precautionary measure.

The public is asked to avoid the area.
