Lehighton Area Heritage Alliance announced that it has been accepted to participate in NEPA Gives on today and Friday.

NEPA Gives is a 24-hour online giving event administered by the Scranton Area Community Foundation in partnership with the Carbon County Community Foundation, The Luzerne Foundation, Greater Pike Community Foundation, Wayne County Community Foundation and Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers.

The event is designed to empower people to give back to their community by supporting local 501(c)(3) nonprofits and includes incentives, bonus funds and prizes to maximize the impact of donations to help preserve Lehighton’s history.

Here’s how you can help:

Plan to make a donation to LAHA through the NEPA Gives portal during the 24-hour period between 7 p.m. today and 7 p.m. Friday.
