The Anthracite Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America (ARAACA) will host a car cruise from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday to benefit McAdoo AMVETS Post 1.

The event will be held at Leiby’s Ice Cream House, South Tamaqua. The rain date is Sunday.

Dash plaques will be awarded to the first 50 cars, and door prizes will be given out. Food will be available at Leiby’s.

All antiques, muscle cars, modifieds, hot rods and motorcycles are welcome. For more information, call Mike Havrilla at 570-436-5050.

Mark your calendars for the 39th annual show: Sept. 14 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tri-County Little League Field, corner of Grove and Hancock streets, McAdoo. The show is held rain or shine.
