The Slatington History Preservation Committee will hold a presentation entitled “Where Downtown Meets Uptown” on Saturday, beginning at 2 p.m. at the Vigilant Fire Company, 110 S. Walnut St. in Slatington.

The historic presentation will explore buildings, businesses and prominent businessmen located in the 300 and 400 blocks of Main Street from the borough’s earliest days up until the present. The event is free and open to the public.
