Cedar Crest College’s Class of 2025 celebrated commencement on May 10 in the PPL Center in Allentown.
Graduates included the following local students:
Effort: Viktoriya Georgieva, degrees in forensic science and chemistry.
Lehighton: Melinda Scheirer, degree in nursing and certificate in health care management; Emily Bonser, degree in nursing; Brooke Zellner, degree in occupational therapy; Madison Cressley, degree in nutrition; Kira Bishop, degree in art therapy.
New Ringgold: Anya Stott, degree in business administration.
Palmerton: Jillian Frank, degree in neuroscience; Madison Balliet, degree in neuroscience; Abigail Anthony, degree in theater; Yesmine Olewine, degree in exercise science.
Slatington: Brittany Gangaway, Master of Education in art of teaching; Makayla Gangaway, degree in special education; Abigail Raymar, certificate in school nursing.
Tamaqua: Sarah Ford, degree in family/individual across the lifespan nurse practitioner; Kira Johnson, degree in family/individual across the lifespan nurse practitioner.
Walnutport: Brandi Cuth, degree in nursing; Ashley Hildebrand, degree in occupational therapy; Emily Ferro, Master of Education in art of teaching.
Cedar Crest College in Allentown has been empowering women to achieve their educational goals since 1867. Today, the college continues to open the doors to opportunities for its diverse student body, both in the undergraduate women’s college and in the coed School of Adult and Graduate Education.
