4-H offers summer camps

Youth are invited to attend 4-H day and evening camps held at the 4-H office in Allentown.

Those attending the camps will have an opportunity to explore all the different activities and fun 4-H has to offer.

Nature Camp

Join 4-H and entomology experts for a three-day adventure into nature.

Each morning, campers will gather for games, activities and snacks. In the afternoon, they will explore the habitats outside and hunt for bugs in the wild. There will be many opportunities for learning disguised as pure fun.

This event is recommended for youth ages 9 to 13, but is open to all youth ages from 8 to 18.

The camp will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 16 to 18 at 4184 Dorney Park Road Lehigh County Agricultural Center, Allentown.

The cost is $60 for 4-H members to attend. Snacks will be provided, but registrants will need to pack a lunch for each day.

Passport to 4-H

Join educators as they take children around the world of 4-H, exploring everything from farm animals to rockets, coding to crafting, and plants to painting.

Each evening, there will be a hands-on experience to spark imagination and show the Cloverbud kids what 4-H is all about. Paper passports will be stamped, and fun will be had.

The Passport to 4-H event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on July 7, 15 and 22 at 4184 Dorney Park Road, Lehigh County Agricultural Center, Allentown.

This event is open to youth ages 5 to 7 and is limited to the first 12 registrants. There is no cost for 4-H members to attend. Snacks will be provided during the event.

Art of STEM Camp

Are you ready to unleash your creativity while diving into the world of science, technology, engineering, and math?

The Art of STEM camp will be a fun and exciting experience designed for youth ages 9 to 13, but is open to all youth ages 8 to 18. This camp blends the best of both worlds by combining the analytical power of STEM with the boundless imagination of art.

Guided by educators, campers will take part in experiential learning that encourages problem-solving, innovation, and artistic expression. For students who love experimenting, exploring and having fun while learning, the Art of STEM is the perfect place for them.

The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on July 29 to 31 at 4184 Dorney Park Road, Lehigh County Agricultural Center, Allentown.

Snacks will be provided, and the cost for the camp is $20 for 4-H members to attend.
