There are no contested Primary Election races in the four municipalities in the Palmerton Area. Everyone on the ballot is virtually assured to win their parties’ nominations, although some nominees will see faceoffs against candidates from the opposing party in November’s General Election.

Palmerton school district

Voters in Bowmanstown and Palmerton boroughs and Towamensing and Lower Towamensing townships will vote for nominations on the Palmerton Area School District board.

Five candidates appear on the Republican ballot, including Michael George, Earl Paules, Danielle Paules, Erin Snyder and Stacey Connell. George is the lone candidate to have cross-filed petitions and appears as the only Democratic candidate.
