Walnutport Borough Council took the following actions on Thursday:

• Agreed to hold a public hearing for Cherry Alley on June 12.

• Granted permission to the Lehigh River Sojourn Committee to allow a campfire for cooking purposes (if there is no burn ban in effect) on June 7 and June 8 where they will be camping near the canal pavilion.
