Lower Towamensing Township supervisors took the following action on Tuesday:

• Agreed to have Jill Smith from Hanover Engineering, or someone from Hanover Engineering, conduct a tree inspection at Ampal Inc. before releasing township held securities.

• Tabled releasing developers securities to MW Real Estate LLC, with regard to Architectural Polymers.

• Awarded bids for road materials to Lehigh Asphalt and New Enterprise.

• Awarded oil and chip bids to Pocono Spray Patching.

• Approved a garbage waiver request for 5990 Little Gap Road.

• Agreed to advertise planning commission special meetings on June 10, July 8 and Aug. 12.

• Announced that electronics recycling events will be held June 17 and Oct. 23.
