The steering committee of the America250-PA Carbon County chapter will meet Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Carbon Career & Technical Institute, 150 W. 13th St., Jim Thorpe.

The purpose of the meeting will be to form committees to meet together, brainstorm ideas and target specific actions as plans are made to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States in 2026.

This meeting is open to the public. Anyone who is interested in getting involved is welcome to attend this meeting.
