April 26, 2006 — Ali Frantz triples to spark a three-run inning and also connects for a two-run homer to help Pleasant Valley gain a 6-1 softball victory over Stroudsburg in the Mountain Valley Conference’s first-half championship game. Frantz triples in the second and scores the game’s first run on a single by Angela Domenici, who eventually will score on an error. An inning later, Angela Frantz singles in front of Ali Frantz’s two-run blast to left. The run support makes a winner of Alesha Sisco, who pitches a five-hitter and strikes out six. Sisco also contributes at the plate with an RBI double.
