State police at Frackville
State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:
• A husband and wife were each cited for harassment by physical contact after police were called to a domestic incident at 3:30 p.m. March 15 on Fourth Street in Kline Township.
The 49-year-old man and 42-year-old woman, both from McAdoo, slapped each other, police said.
• Police served summary warrants on three people in Coaldale, and attempted to serve a fourth warrant in Tamaqua.
They said on that at 10:12 a.m. Feb. 11, they served two warrants on Second Street in Coaldale for persons who failed to appear in court for a traffic violations.
At 2 p.m. the same day a third warrant was served in Second Street in Coaldale for failure to appear.
Police said that at 12:14 p.m. Feb. 25, they unsuccessfully attempted to serve a warrant on Clay Street in Tamaqua.
• Police said they assisted Lansford police with a “follow-up” at 5 p.m. March 5 on East Ridge Street in Coaldale, resulting in drugs being discovered. No other information on the incident was provided.
• Police were called to a theft incident at 2:20 p.m. March 12 on Greenwood Street in Coaldale. No information on the incident was provided by police.
• Police are investigating a criminal mischief incident they were called to at 10:01 p.m. Feb. 14 on East Water Street in Coaldale.
A 60-year-old man from Tamaqua reported someone smashed the driver-side window of his 2008 Chevrolet Silverado.
• A 32-year-old Summit Hill man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 2:46 a.m. Feb. 15.
He was stopped in a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a summary traffic violation in the 200 block of East Phillips Street in Coaldale, after which police said they observed signs of impairment on the driver.
• Narvelle Nattile, 27, of New Philadelphia, was cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a domestic-related incident at 6:47 a.m. March 14 on Valley Street in New Philadelphia.
A 22-year-old woman from New Philadelphia reported that she and Nattile were engaged in an argument that turned physical when he “smacked” the phone out of her hand and grabbed her, police said.
• George Barnes, 38, of New Philadelphia, was cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a domestic-related incident at 7:39 p.m. Feb. 22 on Lombard Street in New Philadelphia.
A 25-year-old woman from New Philadelphia reported she and Barnes were engaged in a verbal altercation that turned physical when he struck her several times, police said.
