At least one person was injured Monday morning in a crash in Franklin Township. The crash occurred in the intersection of Route 209 and Stagecoach Road. Franklin Township firefighters extricated one person trapped in a vehicle. The person was treated at the scene by members of the Palmerton ambulance and Lehighton paramedics before being transported to an area trauma center. Franklin Township fire police maintained traffic control at the scene, shutting down the roadway. State police at Frackville are investigating the crash.
