Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following matters on Monday:

Conferences

• Scott Pyne, PASCD Annual Conference, Nov. 24 to 26, Hershey, registration, $449, lodging, $330, travel, $105, and meals, $180, for a total cost of about $1,064, to be paid from the curriculum budget.

• Superintendent Matthew J. Link, ACTE’s CareerTech VISION, Dec. 3 to 7, San Antonio, Texas, meals, $300, other, $150, for a total cost of about $450, to be funded through the superintendent’s budget.

• Susan Beil, 2024 Innovate and Integrate: MTSS and PBIS Advanced Implementation Forum, Nov. 14 to 15, registration, $105, and meals, $120, for a total cost of about $225, to be funded through the Slatington Elementary School Budget.

• Nichole Fink, Primero Edge Menu Planning Training, Nov. 7 to 8, Harrisburg, travel, $209, for a total cost of about $209, to be funded from the food service budget.

Curriculum and instruction

• Amendment to the PA-ETEP Agreement to include services for all staff for the 2024-2025 school year at a total cost of $867 to be funded out of the Assistant Superintendent’s budget.

Other

• Superintendent to sign the agreement between the district and Intermediate Unit 1, Pennsylvania Training & Technical Assistance Network Agreement for the district to provide a paid externship to eligible, master’s level students to serve as speech-language pathologist extern for the 2024-2025 school year, at no cost to the district.
