Northern Lehigh School Board personnel

Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel matters recently:

Resignations

• Michael Strohl, assistant secondary principal, effective Oct. 28. Strohl has agreed to take the position of principal at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute’s Academic Center.

• Keith Utsch, maintenance staff employee, retiring target date March 11, after 42 years of service.

• Shawn Parisi, second shift maintenance staff employee, effective Sept. 7.

• Skye March, special education paraprofessional employee at the high school, effective Aug. 22.

• Carl Silverstein, substitute guest teacher, effective Aug. 29.

Appointments

• Alicia Deppe, cook’s helper, high school, $14.50 per hour, 5.5 hours per day, effective Aug. 26.

• Kyley Weiner, cook’s helper, Peters Elementary, $14.50 per hour, five hours per day, effective Aug. 26.

• Wesley Delans, special education paraprofessional, Slatington Elementary, $16.39 per hour, 5.75 hours per day, effective Aug. 26.

• Ashley Marlatt, districtwide licensed practical nurse, $26.18 per hour, four days per week, 7.25 hours per day, effective Sept. 3.

• Raysa Gonzalez, special education paraprofessional, Slatington Elementary, $16.39 per hour, 5.75 hours per day, effective Sept. 9.

• Kameryn Smith, special education paraprofessional, Peters Elementary, $16.39 an hour, 5.75 hours per day, effective Sept. 10.

After-school program positions

• Robin Blocker, $17.72 an hour; Ingrid Duran, $16.64 an hour; Lisa Fisher, $17.16 an hour; and Megan Farkas, $17.16 an hour; paraprofessionals.

Co-curricular rescinded

• Skye March, junior class adviser, 2024-25 school year, as approved on the Aug. 12 school board agenda.

• Jason Graver, middle school Junior National Honor Society adviser, shared stipend, 2024-25 school year, as approved on the Aug. 12 school board agenda.

Co-curricular status change

• Blasia Dunham, from middle school Junior National Honor Society adviser, shared stipend, $379, to middle school Junior National Honor Society adviser, $758.

Bus drivers/aides

• Joshua Sebelin, Alexander Kowar, Mercedes Fitzgerald, as bus drivers and aides from Brandywine Transportation to transport Northern Lehigh School District students for the 2024-25 school year.

Salary adjustments

• Allison Chruscial, from Step 16 Masters to Step Masters +24; Derrick Reinert, Step 6 Bachelor’s to Step 6 Bachelor’s +24;
