State police at Lehighton

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:

• Police were summoned to a reported theft incident at 1:42 p.m. Sept. 3 at 213 Emerson Road, Ross Township.

They said the victim is a resident of Wind Gap. No other information on the ongoing investigation was reported by police.

• A woman from Kutztown and a man from Lower Towamensing Township were cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a domestic incident at 6:57 p.m. Aug. 31 on the 3500 block of Forest Street, Towamensing Township.

Police said both parties refused emergency medical services at the scene.

• David A. Kohut, 64, of Bethlehem, was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 4:22 p.m. Sept. 7 on Interchange Road in Towamensing Township.

Police said he refused a medical transport from the scene.

They said he was the driver of a 2001 Toyota Echo that was involved in a crash with a 2020 Hyundai Sonata driven by Elvin G. Guerrero-Blanco, 28, of Alexandria, Virginia, who was cited for “stop signs and yield signs” after the incident.
