State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

• David Hoffman, 30, of Pottsville, was charged with assault/bodily injury after police were called to Market Street in Blythe Township at 7:39 p.m. July 7.

Police said a 21-year-old man from Pottsville was assaulted. A 2007 Volkswagen Jetta was involved in the incident, they said.

• Job Orobio Carranza, 20, of Howell, New Jersey, was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol at 6:03 p.m. July 3.

He was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe on Interstate 81 in New Castle Township.

• Heather Adamitis, 44, of Brockton, was cited for retail theft after police were called to the Walmart at 35 Plaza Drive, Rush Township, at 3:26 p.m. July 3.

Police said she stole two sets of Topps baseball cards, worth $55 and $44.97, and a set of Panini baseball cards valued at $49.96.
