Cole Dietz pitched shutout ball for six innings to lead Franklin Township to an 8-0 win against host Coplay.

Dietz allowed four hits and three walks while striking out six. Carter Bellis closed out the contest with a scoreless frame in the seventh.

Zoltan Bedocs had a hit, scored two runs and knocked in a pair for the winners, who jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning.

Pierce Goida added two RBIs and a run, while Konner Nalesnick scored a pair of runs.
