NL School Board — financial Matters
Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following financial matters on Monday:
• Agreement with Alloy5 for a district feasibility study, including an enrollment study and option for a five-year update at a cost not to exceed $20,000, to be funded through the general fund operating budget. The study is a comprehensive districtwide evaluation of facility conditions, capacities, and recommendations for improvements.
• Purchase of 325 Chromebooks and cases at a cost of $92,280, and 30 projectors and accessories at a cost of $41,932, to be funded through the technology department’s budget.
• One-year agreement with the Cook Center For Human Connection at a cost of $21,000, to be funded through the 2024-2025 districtwide general operating budget for community services.
• Five-year renewal (June 1, 2024 through May 31, 2029) of the Participation Agreement for Microsoft’s Enrollment for Education Solutions through Lancaster Lebanon Intermediate Unit #13 Consortium at a cost of $15,702 per year, to be funded through the district’s technology department budget.
• Renewal proposal for Student Accident Insurance with Bollinger Specialty Group, for the group 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years. The annual yearly premium is $14,880, which is a decrease of $3,000 from the prior year.
• Agreement for the CLIU Overdrive Consortium for the 2024-2025 school year to provide e-books, audiobooks and other digital content at a cost of $2,275.
• Agreement with Assist Services LLC on an as-needed basis.
• Navigate360 as the Threat Assessment Tool at a cost not to exceed $2,903, at an increase of $85 from last year, effective July 1.
• Sign the revised CLIU 21 TransPerfect Agreement with updated rates to provide language interpreting related services as needed for the 2024-2025 school year.
• Reappointed Director Donna Kulp as treasurer for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, effective July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
