State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

* Two New Ringgold residents, a man aged 48 and a woman aged 43, were charged with theft after police were called to an incident at 6:54 p.m. April 26 in Catawissa Street in East Brunswick Township.

Police said they were called to investigate the theft of secondary metal in which the township is the victim.

• Police are investigating the theft of tools from a site on the Brandonville Road in Mahanoy Township.

Police said they were called at 7:20 a.m. April 16 to the location where a representative of the victim, Vestas, of Jarvis, Ontario, reported unknown people cut a lock on a Conex container and stole the tools that were in it.
