The Indians race to an 8-3 lead with four-run innings in the first and second. Charlia Bauer contributes a two-run triple, while Christman collects an RBI single and a run-scoring double. An RBI double from Kathy Tibensky and a triple from Janice Scherer that plates another run helps Lehighton build a 12-7 advantage heading to the seventh. The Bears, however, tie the game with five runs as Shelly Merwine and Melissa Sharpe both produce RBI hits. Scherer and Tibensky each finish with three hits for the Tribe, while Lisa Knopke ends with three for PV.
