May 6, 1992 - Jim Thorpe’s Brian Rehrig pitches a one-hitter and strikes out 15 to lead the Olympians to a 9-0 Schuylkill League Division 2 North victory over Weatherly. Dave Slezak’s single in the third inning is the only hit the Wreckers can muster against Rehrig. Kyle Armbruster and Nelson Ulshafer deliver RBI doubles in the first inning for the winners, coached by Mike Lewis, while Randy Hydro adds a run-scoring single. Thorpe doubles its lead in the second frame on an RBI double from Joe Butcho, and singles by Armbruster and Hydro. The Olympians also receive RBI hits from Mike Kmetz and Norm Garner.
