Shane Paisley, 24, of Tamaqua, will be charged with a summary offense of harassment following a 11:41 p.m. incident on April 20, Tamaqua police said.

According to police, officers were sent to a domestic incident on the 100 block of West Spruce Street and spoke to a woman who said Paisley punched her in the face and the back of the head.

Police said Paisley fled before officers arrived. The victim filed a victim/witness statement form about the incident.

Police did not observe any marks on the victim from the altercation.
