Buddy Guy tops area performances

Classic blues fans have one last shot at seeing Buddy Guy perform locally, as the legend’s Damn Right Farewell tour tops the roster of upcoming local and regional entertainment.

The guitarist-singer, a 2005 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, returns to Penn’s Peak. Guy, with U.S. dates scheduled through early September, has influenced an array of guitarists, including Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

The Peak will also host hard-rock band Lynch Mob, which brings its Final Ride tour to the venue. Rock also comes to Bethlehem‘s Wind Creek Event Center, with shows by The Black Crowes and Mammoth WVH, plus a double bill featuring Nothing More and Wage War.
