A Minersville man has died from burn injuries he suffered in a fire two weeks ago.

The Lehigh County Coroner said Mario R. Ramirez, 77, died at 2:25 p.m. Sunday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. The coroner said Ramirez had burns on 34.5% of his body.

The fire occurred at 12:45 p.m. April 14 in the 600 block of N. Second Street, Minersville.

In addition to the coroner’s office, the Minersville police department is also investigating.
