Mahanoy business cited for liquor violations

Club 54 in Mahanoy City has been cited by the Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, for violating state liquor laws.

Police said on Jan. 11, servants, agents or employees of the business furnished beverages containing alcohol to a visibly intoxicated patron.

The charge will be in front of an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50-1,000 for minor offenses.
