State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 40-year-old man from Bernville was charged with carrying a concealed firearm after being stopped on Route 61 southbound in North Manheim Township.

It happened at 9:03 p.m. April 6 when he was driving a 2000 Audi.

• Police are investigating the theft of copper wire from the Boscov’s department store at the Fairlane Village Mall in Norwegian Township.

Police said they were called there on April 12 when it was reported someone took the wire that was attached to the store’s generator sometime between Feb. 1 and the date reported.
