Monroe County incidents

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following:

• Edward Cain, 43, of Henryville, was charged with harassment after police were called to an incident on Bromley Road, Price Township, at 9:12 a.m. April 16.

They said a 23-year-old construction worker from Pocono Summit reported Cain engaged in an argument with him and punched the window of his 2017 Honda Civic. Police said Cain also resisted arrest.

• Police said a 62-year-old Stroudsburg woman was charged with theft of lost/mislaid property and theft of movable property after they were called to the Mount Airy Casino, Paradise Township, at 6:58 p.m. March 31.

A 50-year-old woman from Allentown reported to security personnel she left her wallet at a second-floor slot machine. Police said it is believed the woman took possession of the wallet, entered the restroom at the facility and upon exiting the restroom took the wallet to security officer. They said when the owner of the wallet was called to retrieve the property it was missing $340 that was in it.

• Police were called to a retail theft/shoplifting incident at the Giant Supermarket, Route 611, Hamilton Township.

They said between 12:38-1:29 a.m. April 12, a suspect stole 10 items worth $112.90 that he put in a backpack he was carrying on his shoulders. The suspect has not been identified, police said.
