State police at Fern Ridge

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following incidents:

• Danielle Klinger, 34, of Lehighton, was cited for retail theft (shoplifting) after police were called to the ShopRite store, 107 Kingsley Drive, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said they were told between 9 a.m. Jan. 25 and 11:45 a.m. April 13 Klinger stole $997.17 worth of items from the store, including food items and cosmetics.

• Stephanie Angelica, 36, of Brodheadsville, was committed to the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville, on charges of simple assault and harassment after police were called to a physical altercation at 10:21 p.m. April 11.

It happened at a property on Countryside Drive, Chestnuthill Township. Police said the other two women involved were ages 33 and 66, both from Brodheadsville.

• Police were called to an assault incident between a husband and wife at 9 a.m. April 16 at a property on Foothill Road, Penn Forest Township.

They said the wife, a 53-year-old woman from Albrightsville, reported she was assaulted by her husband.

• Police were called to a defiant trespass incident at 3:26 p.m. April 17 at a property on Dana Court, Penn Forest Township.

A 57-year-old man from Albrightsville, reported the accused, after previously being told not to step foot on his property, trespassed on the property. Police said the property owner did not want to prosecute the accused but asked police to advise him not to use the property as a shortcut in the future.

• Police were called to an incident at the Rite Aid store in Chestnuthill Township at 7:04 p.m. March 26.

They said store personnel told them someone used a bottle of Stetson Spirit Body Spray that was displayed for sale. They said a considerable amount of the product was used and it was no longer able to be sold as new. The loss is estimated at $8.99.

• Police said charges of driving under the influence of alcohol are pending against Zsazsa Cook, 58, of Effort.

She was stopped in a 2020 Chevrolet Spark at 3:31 p.m. April 18 at 1709 Route 209, Chestnuthill Township.
