Tamaqua students art on display through Saturday

The annual Tamaqua Area High School art show is on display at the Tamaqua Arts Center, 125 Pine St., until Saturday. There is a wide variety of work on display such as drawings, paintings, prints, photographs and ceramics from students in ninth through 12th grades.

This year, there are more than 75 pieces of student artwork on display, making it one of our biggest shows yet, school art teacher Abby Shumgart said. Students are also taught by instructor Dana Ayers. Admission is free.
