West Penn Township has given the go-ahead for the 2024 bituminous seal coat project.

Supervisors Tuesday morning awarded a contract to Asphalt Maintenance Solutions LLC, which bid $163,521.

The base bid roads are as follows:

• Dogwood Lane, from Pine Hill Road to Spring Road.

• Red Hill Road, from Limekiln Drive east for 3,000-feet.

• Pine Ridge Drive from Route 895 to the cul-de-sac.

• Mantzville Road from 781 Cold Spring Road west for 2,640-feet to the dirt portion of the road.

• Mantzville Road from 2,640-feet west of 781 Cold Spring Road to Route 443.

• South Hilltop Road from 994 Archery Club Road north to a dead end.

• Dairy Road from St. Peter Road to Strauss Valley Road.

• Mantzville Road from Route 443 west to St. Peter Road.

• Pinehill Road from Cider Run Road to the county/township line.

• High Drive from Dairy Road north for 2,200-feet.

• Ricks Road from Archery Club Road to the township line.

Also on Tuesday, supervisors announced that the West Penn Township Park Commission for the Zion Stone Church Road Park has rescheduled the park cleanup for 8 a.m. Saturday.
