April 18, 1980 - Lehighton rallies from a deficit and then hangs on to gain a 10-9 Centennial League baseball win over Slatington. After falling behind 4-0, the Indians come up with three runs in the fourth and explode for seven runs in the fifth to go ahead. John Szacska delivers a two-run single during the big fifth frame, while Walt Rehrig and Keith Semmel both collect RBI doubles. The Bulldogs plate four runs in the seventh to cut the deficit to one and load the bases with one out, but Brian Bollinger takes over on the mound and gets a strikeout and pop-out to end the game. Semmel finishes with two hits and three RBIs for Lehighton.
