Tamaqua named champions in Sixth Sense event

The 36th meeting of the Sixth Sense Competition was held April 8-10 at Northwestern Lehigh Middle School. Students from Jim Thorpe, Lehighton, Northern Lehigh, Northwestern Lehigh, Palmerton, Panther Valley, Pleasant Valley and Tamaqua school districts competed in 14 rounds to determine a champion.

Tamaqua earned first place. Pleasant Valley came in second place, followed by Jim Thorpe in third place. Fourth place went to Palmerton.
