One motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday afternoon in a crash in West Brunswick Township.

The incident occurred around 3 p.m. near 64 Hawk Mountain Road, about a mile south of Route 895. The crash involved a motorcycle and a car.

The victim was treated at the scene by members of the New Ringgold ambulance and Schuylkill paramedics before being flown by LifeFlight 6 to an area trauma centers.

Hawk Mountain Road was closed for several hours. State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the incident.
