State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 73-year-old Cressona man reported $95,000 was stolen from him in an identity theft incident.

Police were called at 2:47 p.m. Jan. 11 to a residence on River Street in Cressona. The man said he transferred the money to an unknown suspect from his account at a M & T Bank to a Wells Fargo account.

• Desiree Acosta, 26, of New Philadelphia, is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 8:45 p.m. March 31.

She was driving a 2001 Ford Focus on North Centre Street in Pottsville.

• A 21-year-old New Philadelphia man is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop police made at 1:16 p.m. Feb. 22.

He was stopped in a 2007 Nissan on West Market Street in Pottsville. Police did not name the man.
