Carbon County Common Pleas Judge Roger Nanovic placed Matthew Petrucci, 41, of Jim Thorpe, on probation for one year after he pleaded guilty to damage of railroad property. The sentence was handed down April 2.
The following sentences were handed down March 28 by Carbon County Common Pleas Judge Joseph Matika:
• Nelson Rozon De La Cruz, 29, of Hazleton, was placed into the ARD program for one year after being charged with driving under the influence-controlled substance-impaired ability, driving under the influence-controlled substance-schedule 1, possession of marijuana, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Joshua Russell Scholl, 20, of Drums, was placed into the ARD program for one year after being charged with driving under the influence- controlled substance-schedule 1, driving under the influence-controlled substance-impaired ability-first offense, small amount of marijuana, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, careless driving, lighting equipment violations and driving an unregistered vehicles.
• Kenneth George Wisler, 64, of Jim Thorpe, was placed on probation for one year and fined $300 after pleading guilty to resisting arrest and driving under the influence-general impairment-incapable of safe driving.
