The annual Tamaqua Area “Raider” Band spring concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. April 18, in the Tamaqua Area School District Auditorium.

The concert will include the premiere of a composition by Tamaqua alumnus Drew Bonner, a DMA student at the University of Iowa.

The piece, In Medias Res, was commissioned by the Tamaqua Area Band Booster Association in memory of John F. Potlunas, the much beloved former band director of the Tamaqua Raider Band.

Tickets may be purchased at the door the evening of the concert.

Doors open at 6:45 p.m. The public is invited to the night of music by the talented students and for the first public performance of In Medias Res.
