The South Schuylkill Garden Club is accepting applications for a scholarship that will be awarded to a graduating senior.

The club will award a one-time $1,000 Scholarship to a Schuylkill County High School senior who will attend an institution of higher learning in the field of: horticulture, floriculture, landscape architecture, conservation, forestry, botany, agronomy, plant pathology, environmental control, land-use planning, land management, agriculture or related fields in these sciences.

Applications must be received by May 30. The application form can be requested from High School Guidance Departments or from the Scholarship Chair Patricia Wishousky, phone 272-245-5050, email pjw47@outlook.com. The winner will receive scholarship in person at the South Schuylkill Club Summer Meeting of their choice.
