Route 443 is closed in Walker Township at the West Penn township border due to power lines down across the roadway. Just before 1 p.m. a rotted pole at the entrance to the PennDOT shed snapped off bringing down the lines. According to PPL Utilities, 635 West Penn residents have lost power.
