March 27, 2004 - Tamaqua’s Jen Bensinger pitches a no-hitter to lead the Blue Raiders to a 2-0 victory over visiting Southern Lehigh. Bensinger allows just one walk and strikes out 11 in her seven innings of work. Tamaqua, coached by Jim Connely, scores both of its runs in the third inning. Chrissy Guy, who walks, races home on a two-base error while Abbey Knoblauch, who reaches base on a single, eventually crosses the plate on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Nicole Inama. Erika Loving collects two hits for the winners, with Bensinger adding a double.
