March 25, 1996 - Northern Lehigh opens its track and field season with a sweep of Dieruff. The Bulldog boys use multiple firsts from Larry Davis, Kody Fedorcha and Tim Pfluger to gain a 110-40 victory. Davis captures the 100 and high jump, while Fedorcha takes both the 400 and 800. Pfluger excels in the distance events, winning the 1600 and 3200. The Nolehi girls claim first in 13 of 17 events to post an 89-52 victory. Joyce Henry wins the 1600 and 3200, with Heather Hude crossing first in the 100 hurdles and also bettering the competition in the long jump.
