March 22, 1960 - St. Joseph’s CYO team of Summit Hill remains undefeated and adds the Philadelphia Diocesan Upstate title to its list of accomplishments with a 32-27 victory over St. Catharine of Allentown at the Ginter Gym. Joe Perilli pours in a game-high 17 points for the winners, who come out on top for the 22nd straight time. St. Joe’s, which uses a six-point run late in the game to help gain the championship, also receives 11 points from Bobby Bonner.
