March 19, 2010 - Palmerton’s Shea Solt swims a personal best time in the 200 freestyle to capture third place at the PIAA Class 2A swimming championships at Bucknell University’s Kinney Natatorium. Solt posted a mark of 1:52.20, bettering her previous best of 1:53.10. It also marked the third straight year that Solt gained a medal in the 200 free. The Blue Bombers’ Katie Pielmeier and KP Pielmeier also compete at states on Day 1, as does Panther Valley’s 200 free and 200 medley relay teams of Tricia Janowiak, Alexia Follweiler, Lauren Cormier and Karoline Vavra.
