March 18, 1972 - Tamaqua’s Gary Kehl bowls a 208 to earn the highest single game in the 16-18 year-old division at the third annual Tamaqua Jaycees Junior Bowling Tournament at Sky Lanes in Hometown. Kehl’s mark was tops among all divisions, giving him the highest overall score of the 49 participants. Bill Milot of Brockton turns in the highest series in the 16-18 bracket and overall, with a three-game total of 566. Hometown’s David Cappos has the high series in the intermediate division (13-15) with a 520, while Tamaqua’s Bernard Witcofsky turns in the best three games in the bantom division (12-and-under) with a 546.
