State police at the Hazleton barracks reported the following:

• A 52-year-old Weatherly man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop police made at 1:19 a.m. March 1.

He was stopped in a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado on Hudson Drive in Banks Township.

• A 43-year-old woman from Tamaqua was charged with criminal mischief after police were called at 7:36 p.m. Feb. 28 to an incident in the parking lot of the Walmart store, Airport Road, Hazle Township.

Police said it is alleged she kicked a 2011 GMC Sierra owned by a 22-year-old man from Hazle Township, resulting in the vehicle being dented and scratched.
